Coaches Corner

Registration - All coaches will pick up their team’s credentials and player packets on Friday, October 27. There will be a mandatory coaches meeting at 2:50 pm. You may want to have someone gather your team while you are in the coaches meeting. All players, coaches, assistant coaches, etc. must wear their credentials to get into the venue. Credentials must be worn by the players when they are not playing.

Volleyballs - You will need to bring your own volleyballs for warm-ups.

Pool Play and Brackets - Pool play is two games to 21. Bracket play is best 2 out of 3, first two games to 25, third game to 15, if needed. Teams listed first on the pool play schedule and on the top of the pairing in bracket play will be considered the home team. Only those listed on the roster will be allowed on the bench.

Fan Bus - If you are bringing a fan bus on Friday night, please email Robin Mueller – rmueller81@gmail.com - by noon on Thursday, October 26.

Line Judges - Due to uncertain times and volunteers, teams may need to supply an adult line judge for their matches during pool play on Friday night and on Saturday.

Match Results – The scores from pool play Friday night and bracket play on Saturday and Sunday will be updated on the LSA website – lsawi.org.

Uniforms:  Teams listed on the top of the pairing in bracket play will be considered the home team. Uniforms must have numbers on the front and back, per WIAA rules. Libero's must have a school jersey/t-shirt and a contrasting color to the school uniforms, per WIAA rules. Club t-shirts are not allowed.

Locker rooms:  You will not be allowed in your locker room until after the game that preceeds yours begins. NOTE: Locker rooms are not locked during game times. Do not leave valuables in the locker rooms.

Team photos - Team photos will be taken Friday night. The schedule will be sent to the coaches. Every team competing in the State Championship receives a photo plaque when you've completed your last match.

Concessions - We encourage your team to support the host site’s concessions. No carry-ins will be allowed, except water and Gatorade (no cases allowed).

Apparel - Pre-order apparel can be picked up at the apparel table. Additional apparel (limited amount and sizes) will be available for purchase. Credit cards will be accepted.

Trainers - There will be no athletic trainers at Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School this weekend.

Tournament Book - The tournament book is digital. If you want a printed copy, you will need to print it prior to the tournament. You can access the book through a QR code or through the LSA website. Please inform your parents that the players will not receive a book.

Sportsmanship:  The LSA of Wisconsin takes sportsmanship very seriously and has seen amazing response from all schools, teams, and fans. We encourage you to remind your fans and parents that while we are not a church-related event, we all have something in common and that is our faith and our response to love and care for our neighbors. Volleyball can be very competitive. It's not for the faint of heart...especially the parents. We know, as many of us were at one time the parents of student athletes. Having said that, we give out a Sportsmanship Award at the end of the tournament to the team who exemplifies what it means to be a Christian athlete. We take on-court and off-court behavior into account, as well as the response of your school’s fans and parents. The decision is arbitrary, but we don't make it lightly. The winning team will receive an award.

Team Spirit Award:  The Team Spirit Award will be given to the school who shows the most school spirit throughout the weekend of the tournament.
